A 30" Necklace of Amethyst and Old Tribal Silver
This 30" necklace is made of a mix of large rough amethyst beads with smaller round matter amethyst beads and a variety of old silver beads. In the center, there is a beautiful old Moroccan Berber bead, the smaller tribal beads are of unknown origin. The exact silver content in these old beads is not tested. The necklace is finished with a small sterling silver box clasp with an inset amethyst cabochon. The rough amethyst beads range from about 18 to 22mm in length, the small round amethyst beads are about 7mm; the largest Berber bead is 40x22 mm.
The old silver beads show age, with some nicks, imperfections, and discoloration which only add character to the piece.
